My in-laws' house on the water suffered significant damage during Hurricane Helen. Built in 1959, the home is one of the few remaining original homes in their neighborhood and has stunning views of the county's waters, Caladesi Island, and Honeymoon Island. They had originally planned to gut and rebuild, but at this point they are considering selling "as is" rather than investing in a remodel that could eventually be torn down.
